A- Academic requirements:
- To attend all academic courses and seminars 3 days a week .
- To pass exams given at the end of each course.
- To actively participate in departmental weekly seminar and restorative meetings.
B-Clinical requirements:
- Prior to starting the program
- Demonstrate the ability to fulfill attendance of morning seminars, plus the clinical practice.
- Each candidate should have ( a set of scalars & curettes, high speed and air motor hand piece, surgical set, endo set and materials needed for restorative and prosthetic dentistry),

A- Academic requirements:
- To attend all academic courses and seminars on a daily basis.
- To pass exams given at the end of each course.
- To actively participate in departmental weekly seminar and restorative meetings.
B-Clinical requirements:
- Prior to starting the program
- Demonstrate the ability to fulfill full time attendance of morning seminars, plus the clinical practice.
- Each candidate should have (a set of scalars & curettes, high speed and air motor hand piece).
- Digital camera that can perform intra oral photos.
- Trays, semi adjustable articulator.
- During the program:

Every resident should manage at least 10 cases and expect to add 10 more after the first year, Comprehensive treatment for these patients should be done and the residents are encouraged to include 2-3 surgical cases & implant cases in their case load.

All cases have to be diagnosed & managed under the supervision of a specific consultant or faculty members and it is the responsibility of each resident to ascertain that the treatment plan and any necessary extraction letters to be signed by their supervisors, the comprehensive treated cases should be signed by each specialty faculty member to allow adequate exposure to different treatment modalities & techniques.

All treatment procedures should be documented in the corresponding patient's chart and signed by the consultant /visit.

All residents are expected to show a respectable and cooperative conduct for the smooth running of the clinical work.
- At the end of each year the candidate should:
- Present completed and signed forms of all courses attended during their residency.
- Present full pre-and post treatment records of their cases as well as comprehensive case reports, these cases should include:
- Restorative treatment
- Periodontal treatment
- Implant treatment
- Endodontic treatment
- Present at least 2 cases in the department seminar in a data show format on a CD

A- Academic requirements:

- Demonstrate the ability to fulfill full time attendance of morning seminars.

Craniofacial development and growth formative mechanisms in craniofacial development which are clinically important .

Section 2
Oral biology, oral pathology and microbiology . Anatomy, physiology and pathology of the tissues related to the oral cavity .
3-
Section 3
Systemic diseases in relation to dentistry and their oral manifestations . Applied basic science relevant to clinical management of systemic conditions which are dentally important .
4-
Section 4
Emergencies in dental practice . Applied basic science relevant to the management of dental acute emergencies .
5-
Section 5
Radiology, radiation hazards, and imaging the principles of safe and effective imaging .
6-
Section 6
General clinical dentistry including clinical sciences . Routine clinical dental practice and its supporting applied basic science .
