Misr University for Science & Technology Discussing a Protocol with the Russian State University for Humanities
Among various activities meant to reinforce integration and cooperation with
Egyptian and Foreign universities, Misr University for Science & Technology has recently
discussed a protocol with the Russian State University for Humanities which is specialized in
the Archeological and Heritages Sciences.
A delegation of the Russian University professors was received by Dr. Mohamed Al-
Azazi -president of MUST, Dr. Yasmin Al-Kashif – Secretary Genaral for the university Board
of Trustees, Dr. Omayma Al-Shal- Dean of the faculty of Archeology, together with Dr. Rasha
Soliman and Dr. Abir Anany – faculty Vice Deans and a number of the faculty professors.
The discussion revolved around the means of cooperation between the two
universities and the activation of the protocol in a way that would enhance the educational
process especially in the faculty of Archeology.
The protocol that would be signed shortly determines that the theoretical parts are
to be taught by specialized Egyptology professors, while the practical part would be taught
by a training team of highly qualified faculty members from both parties. The protocol also
included arranging visits for the Russian experts in the intended fields so as to transfer their
experiences through intensive workshops held in MUST or through video conferences.
It is notable to mention that MUST is the only Egyptian university to sign a protocol
with The Russian State University for Humanities. This is because of having a specialized
student exchange center and another specialized center for Arabic and Archeological
