Message from the Dean
The College Of Special Education, Misr University for Science & Technology (MUST) Was Established in 2014 to graduate teachers and specialists for students with special needs .The College of Special Education is considered to be the pioneer among Egyptian, Arab and Middle East Universities. It has a unique model to prepare the teachers and the specialists to work in the field of Special Education. The programs of the students’ preparation was developed within the standards of the National Authority Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAE) in Special Education and the Standards of the American Council for Exceptional Children (CEC).
The mission of the College of Special Education is to prepare special education professionals and to foster the scholarly pursuit of educational knowledge and skills through teaching, research and service. The college of Special Education has continued to develop its resources to meet the changing needs of special education professionals locally, nationally, and internationally.

Our mission is to prepare teachers to educate the students with special needs within the frame of national and international standards. Our aim is to provide applied scientific research to solve the educational problems of the students with special needs.
The College of Special Education is a newly-established college that strives to prepare teachers to deal with students with special needs. The college also aims at being a leader in research related to students with disabilities. The college has a respective reputation at national, regional, and international levels.
The College offers the Bachelor of Science ( B.Sc ) in Special Education (140 Credit hours) in one of the five majors:
- Mental Retardation.
- Vision and Hearing Impairment.
- Emotional and Behavioral Disorders.
- Gifted and Learning Disability and Disorders.
- Motor Handicapped.
Also, the college offers the professional Diploma in Special Education (45 credit hours) in the one of the four specializations :
- Blind and Vision Impairment.
- Deaf and Hearing Impairment.
- Gifted and Creativity.
- Learning Disability and Disorders.
